I attended a self-defense class and realized that this was something I could do for myself. I retired from teaching elementary school and was just sitting all the time. I missed running after my students and needed something to get myself up and active again. I am the oldest in the class. I have limitations to some of the things that we do, but I am able to modify for my abilities. This class has been wonderful for me in giving me back an activity that keeps me moving and FEELING HEALTHY! If I can do this, anyone can do it.
